CEO Aaron Seib at National Plan Automation Group ConferenceHealth insurance plans from across the nation asked NATE to present on the topic of electronic consumer engagement at their annual conference last week.  NATE CEO Aaron Seib talked with participants about the purpose of and need for NATE’s Blue Button for Consumers (NBB4C) Trust Bundle and introduced NATE’s newest Task Force on Data Provenance for Exchange Purposes.  Seib also discussed the need for simple and secure ways for patients to contribute their data to clinical research efforts.  His biggest takeaway from the event: I think that the payer community’s interest in patient engagement was orders of magnitude greater than in years past, especially in the context of value based care delivery.”  Great news, Aaron!
